1. Showcase was really exciting for me. It was great to take all of the fun master classes and stay to help with the theater showcase on Saturday.
2. My best moment I think was either the Suzuki master class or just watching the tech showcase take place. I liked Suzuki because it was new and different and got my energy pumping. It was fun to connect (in a weird way) with all of the other participants in the class. I also enjoyed the tech showcase because it gave me an idea of what I'd be doing next year when I showcase.
3. If I could change one thing about showcase it'd be the third master class that I took. It wasn't all that much fun and would have much rather taken the management class instead.

Beginning Ballet
Our first ballet class brought back some memories from when I was a kid. I took ballet for two years as a toddler, and I had absolutely no respect for it. Now, after taking a mature and more complex ballet class, I understand why it is referred to as such a complex skill. I think we have begun to learn basic ballet to give each of us a basic framework of dance and dance technique. By (re)learning these dance techniques I will build my endurance, technique, ability, and patience as a dancer.

Arts in the Park Reflection
I am looking forward to the Arts in the Park Performance very much! I can't wait to hear from my friends and family what they thought of our performance. I am concerned about a few things however. I am concerned that I will mess up my diabolo tricks, forget a dance move or a lyric, or be inaudible to the audience. I have had sooo much fun during rehearsals. Learning the dances and the songs and then practicing them, although tiring at times, was very exhilarating. In addition, I got to spend quality time really getting to know my peers.

Progress
DESCRIBE: Describe the activity we are working on in class.
In class we are learning our music by going through the pieces part by part. We are also learning the dance choreography in the same way
ANALYZE: What have you found to be the most fun and what have you found to be the most difficult?
I have had the most fun hearing all of the harmonies come together and figuring out a dance move correctly. I have difficulties learning the music so fast and conquering complex dance moves.
REFLECT/RELATE: What are your thoughts about this process and our upcoming performance?
I think the process has been really fun and I cannot wait to see the final product!
